What we collect

• Submissions: when you submit a challenge, suggest an edit, or log an attempt, we store what you typed plus your IP address and browser user-agent (spam and abuse prevention). Email and display name are optional unless you sign in.
• Accounts: if you sign in with Google or an email link, we store your email, display name, and avatar to build your public profile page. Your email is never shown publicly.
• Newsletter: your email address, only used to send the newsletter you signed up for. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, or write to us directly.
• Analytics: we use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights, which collect aggregated, anonymized usage and performance data. No cross-site tracking cookies are set by us.

Advertising

Pages may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.

Third-party services

The site runs on Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database and authentication), Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection on submission forms), Google Maps (embedded restaurant maps), and YouTube (embedded challenge videos). Each processes only the data needed to provide its function.
